crate and unbolt the top of the metal
crate (if applicable). You can un-bolt
the side post or just move them out of
the way. Untie all of the wire hangers
and remove the bike from the shipping
crate.
Put bike on the kickstand. Remove contents
from the box (s). Take out the battery
and fill the battery (if applicable) with
the electrolyte (battery acid) provided.
Let the battery "breathe" for
about 10-15 minutes before installing
the cap seal. Install the battery in the
foot rest area under the floor mat or
in they battery tray. Depending on the
model, connect the red "hot"
wire (s) to the positive post. Some models
may have two red wires, one is solid red
and the other can be red with a black
cover that has the in-line fuse connected
to it. Please open the fuse cover and
make sure the fuse is good and making
good connection. The other wire is solid
green or black and connects the negative
post.
*Note: If battery needs
charged, use a small trickle type charge,
no more than 2 amps. If the product included
a battery charger, only use that charger.
To install the front tire (if applicable),
remove the front axle bolt and set it
aside to use when you install the front
tire. Place the bike on a stand so the
front wheel is in the air. Insert the
speedometer cable and spacer (if applicable)
into the center portion of the rim, making
sure to align them properly, and then
mount the front tire.
If your model comes with handle bar end
caps, do not over tighten the throttle
side end cap, or it can affect the throttle
response. Tighten it snug, but make sure
the throttle handle moves freely.
Attach any other necessary wiring (if
applicable), such as blinkers, brake lights,
etc. Install the mirrors and trunk (if
applicable) and put fuel in the gas tank.
On 4-Stroke engines, use unleaded 87 octane
fuel or higher and DO NOT use any 2-cycle
oil. On 2-Stroke engines, pre-mix the
2-cycle oil and fuel to the designated
ratio. The shipping oil on 4-Stroke engines
in the motor should be changed to quality
20W50 or 10W40 oil as soon as possible.

Starting Procedure:
ALL MODELS:
- Make sure the battery has a full charge
and add fuel to the gas tank. We suggest
you put fuel in the gas tank and let
it sit for ½ hour, so the fuel
can get through to the carburetor.
- Place on flat level surface. Turn
the key to on position all the way
to the right; lights will turn on
when bike is running.
- If your model has a kick start or
pull start, gently use that the first
time to start.
- When using the electric starter,
most models have a safety feature
built to avoid unintentional starting,
so apply the foot or hand brake to
engage electric starter.
- Allow to warm up 3-4 minutes.
- Drive Safely and wear a helmet!!
Note: Do not operate
at max speed for first few hundred
miles. Allow the engine to be properly
broken in.
Maintenance:
The shipping oil on 4-Stroke engines
in the motor should be changed to
quality 20W50 or 10W40 oil as soon
as possible.
Oil should be change after the first
200 miles or 10 hours. Then oil should
be changed at regular intervals, every
1000 miles or 3 months.
Check all nuts and bolts during the
break in period. If any are found
loose, use Loc-tite anti-vibration
fluid to secure.
In addition to the normal prep procedures,
these above steps will help assure
that the engine has a longer healthier
life.
